We’re making progress with Mash This podcast and record our episodes every other week regularly. This time for the fifth episode we have Brad Wilson from ASP.NET team at Microsoft to talk about open source ASP.NET web stack and ASP.NET Web API.
Microsoft made a major announcement last week to make its ASP.NET web stack of technologies open source under an Apache license and receive external contributions. Since we had a developer from the team with background in open source, and the topic was hot, we talk about this with Brad first. I think we are the first podcast to talk about this topic since the announcement.
After that, we move on to ASP.NET Web API as one of the major additions to new version of ASP.NET MVC which is something handy for online API designers and relevant to the topic of our podcast. Brad gives us some technical details about the design of ASP.NET Web API that are very helpful to developers who want to use this technology.
